GEAR: A RANGE OF HIGH ASPECT FOILS THAT CELEBRATES 10 YEARS OF R&D
In May 2014, we launched our range of Allvator foils. Since then, we have continued to innovate to move the...
PROGRAM
The supersonic front wing with incredible glide and pumping.
PRESENTATION
The Veloce H combines glide and maneuverability like no other foil. It’s the best compromise of glide and maneuverability for a very high aspect foil.
Its high efficiency offers great comfort from its low to high end of use. An exceptional low end for a high aspect foil, as well as a great top speed, which translates into an insane glide that will make you the king of freeflying and pumping from one wave to the next.
Its exceptional glide and ease of pumping allow you to score in small conditions. it’s your best alley to connect bumps endlessly. And as soon as it accelerates, nothing can stop you. Even in kite foiling you can push it full speed without ever reaching its limits. Stunning.
Its longitudinal stability offers great comfort when sailing and perfect control when riding down a wave. We are often very high, on an ultra healthy foil which does not ventilate and seems to hang on no matter what.
And that's magic for surfing because you can place the wing very high on the face of the wave and go full send!!!
Definitely fast, you will be amazed by its maneuverability. And what can we say about its glide if not: exceptional!!!
The 10.1 aspect ratio of the Veloce H makes it a front wing with a lot of glide.
Its efficiency is high because it needs very little power to maintain its flight, while allowing very fast speeds.
Its straight outline provides longitudinal stability by moving the center of lift forward, thus moving it away from the center of lift of the stabilizer. The front to rear span is artificially increased, which reduces the stabilizer area because it has a greater leverage on the lower.
The wing profile has a concave on its upper surface which gives it a self-stable character. The lower does not need a high stab volume and we reduce drag, thus gaining even more glide and speed.
This profile also gives “bounce” to the foil when pumping, facilitating its height gain which increases pumping endurance. Perfect for connecting waves on end.
The dihedral is pronounced and progressive to accentuate the maneuverability and playfulness of the rail-to-rail. The tips are released and control is total, the foil is very manageable and very healthy despite its high wingspan.
The tips of the Veloce H are raised like winglets to reduce the induced drag of the wing for an even loser glide and an ever more impressive glide.
This element of shape also reduces wear on the tips when riding close to the beach ;-)
The settings of the foil on your board is identical to the previous version and all the GONG foils. This balance of forces is precisely calculated to guarantee you a constant feeling, especially when you move from one FW to another in a session.
Technical sheet
Buying guide
This is a wing for experienced riders looking to maximize the surfing and freeflying in their session.
It is a pure wave riding wing to maximize freefly comfort on all types of waves, be extremely efficient in pumping and reach high speeds. Qualities that make it a real downwind machine.
Less low end oriented than the Curve H, it nevertheless remains forgiving at low speed and accessible for takeoff. Compared to our previous Veloce H range, you can reduce the surface area of your front wing with no fear of a challenging take off or higher stall speed.
Some generalities on the choice of front wing sizes:
The preferred size will depend on your foiling discipline, your level, your weight, the conditions of your spot but also your board and your wing.
When pumping, you want as much surface as possible to be able to get going without the help of a wave or wind. By improving your technique and gaining more speed, you can reduce the surface area you need.
In surf/SUP foiling, the perfect surface area would be small enough to turn with ease but large enough to take off and pump comfortably.
In wing foiling, all sizes work. The heavier the rider and/or the lighter the wind, the larger the size. Conversely, riders who are lighter and comfortable with takeoff can look for smaller sizes.
When kite foiling, you want to avoid wingspans of more than 80 cm because the counter-heel is significant and the tips will easily breach the surface. Favor lower aspect ratio front wings to start because they provide a lot of lift for a limited wingspan.

We recommend pairing a Veloce H stab with your Veloce H front wing, as these two components are designed for the same program and optimized to work in perfect harmony.
General information on the choice of stab sizes:
The preferred size will depend on your foiling discipline, your level, your weight, the conditions of your spot but also your front wing.
A larger stab will make take-off easier because the foil will generate a significant torque which will tend to give it a significant angle of attack. This also implies more front foot pressure.
A smaller stab will be more technical on takeoff but will boost speed and maneuverability. We also lose some front foot pressure, which means having to move the foil forward in the boxes to regain this stability.
Always adjust the size of the stab to the size of the front wing to obtain a balanced flight and functioning harmony between these two components.

What to choose between Curve H, Fluid H and Veloce H?
Each of these high-performance foils have their strong points on which development has been particularly focused:
The Curve H is a combo of responsiveness and lift.
It’s the queen for carving and low end conditions (which does not mean it can’t handle speed, on the contrary!). It is also the most comfortable foil for pumping, which allows you to make numerous connections when surf foiling without burning your thighs.
The Fluid H is a combo of responsiveness and speed.
Perfect for turning very short, going fast, glide and enjoying a very dynamic drive. Add to that a very powerful pop and you understand why this foil will go wherever you want, in the water or in the air!
The Veloce H is a combo of glide and versatility.
It is a freefly and downwind machine. It’s the foil to glide and connect bumps endlessly with incomparable fluidity. Accelerations on the wave are stunning and it has a very low stall speed which facilitates flight in all circumstances.
The Veloce HDW: 100% glide.
To be even more focused on infinite glide, the Veloce HDW. The queen in downwinders.

Delivery
We indicate a preparation and shipping time of 3 working days. In reality, the majority of orders are shipped within 24/48 hours.
The delivery time, i.e. delivery time of the package to your home, then depends on the delivery location and the carrier.
We work with reliable and efficient carriers. 99% of shipments go perfectly and quickly. In the case of the remaining 1%, rest assured that we will do what is necessary with the carrier.
Unlike other sites, shipping costs are not hidden behind the price of our products. You know exactly what shipping costs you, and you are not disadvantaged if you choose to collect your order at our GONG Space Center.
Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight and volume of each package, and your delivery address.
Delivery tracking is managed directly by the carriers to whom we have entrusted your packages. They will contact you by email or SMS to allow you to choose delivery methods and follow the route of your package.
We work with the best transport societies to deliver to you throughout Europe and the world within very short deadlines. We chose them for their quality of service and their compliance with deadlines.
For mainland France, 80% of your orders arrive at their destination in less than 48 hours of processing.
For Europe, delivery times vary from 3 to 6 working days, depending on the country of destination.
For the rest of the world, delivery times depend on transit time and customs clearance time. This delay depends on customs and can last from a few days to a few weeks depending on the destination and seasonality.
Please note, transport time is added to preparation/shipping time. Two companies collaborate on your order (GONG and the carrier). Each one masters its activity and is committed to optimizing its deadlines so that you are delivered as quickly as possible and at a reasonable price.
