La Carter was taken from a pure 70s shape, remastered by l’Ours to conform to todays modern surfing. Style, but also real performance with an unhindered glide and super clean carving. Smooth, floaty while paddling, but ready to be radicalized if you desire, this model is supersonic. Drop in from far out because it’s easy to paddle, rocketing through the section is natural with its pin tail + wingers. Linking turns is in its DNA due to its fluid shape and Tri-Fin mounting, it is fearsome and 100% modern. In 2+1 you get a well rounded board, while turning, that conserves speed. And with a Single Fin you open up the doors of style: enjoy ? The board for those who adore the glide and laying down magical turns.

These boards are equipped with a leash plug and 2 FCS II fin boxes + 1 US box. Depending on your desires and your surfing style, the FCSII fin catalog then allows you to go for pro model fins signed by emblematic surfers. This board comes with a mid-range FCS Glass Flex set and a GONG central fin that you can complete with high-end fiber fins for the best performance.

Construction

The Origin 2.0 technology combines solidity, performance and a polished glossy finish that will make heads turn on the beach! This modern composite sandwich that combines wood and carbon on an EPS foam blank is just superb. The vacuum glued wood strengthens the board against knocks, dents and breakage. The carbon belt creates an outer double batten that provides incredible responsiveness. This very high-end technology is the perfect combination of durability, dynamism and performance. GLOBAL

Rocker : very progressive for the most natural carving.
Rails : ultra thin and streamlined focused on carving.
Volume : placed 2/3 in front, generous but without excess for early take offs and mad performance.
Outline : pinched tail for optimum control, an advanced wide point for stability at higher speeds, and a nose suufficiently thick for dropping in from far out.
Tail : pin tail + wingers to blend speed and maneuverability
Nose : point nose for quick paddling and handling wave face.
Deck : domed to maintain thinner rails and some thickness in the middle.
Bottom : double concave at tail for maximum control. V’d at center for quick rail to rail, and bellied/convex nose for soft touch at high speeds.
Fins : single + 2 lateral

ORIGIN 2.0 Surf Technology

High quality premium materials : super light EPS blanks, Epoxy resin, Fiber Glass, Carbon Fiber, PVC reinforcements, 0,6mm wood veneer, Patented FCS2 Boxes. Materials chosen for their magnificent beauty and their mechanical qualities.

This technology is fundamentally the same as the WCKF but with Carbon over the rails and a transparent finish that demands an enormous amount of time at each phase for a beautiful finish.

It is a solid and performant technology with a glossy finish. Superb construction with modern composites.

Technical details :

Board, 100% Epoxy over EPS Blank : solid and light.
Deck and Hull in vacuumed wood sandwich : the wood is resistant to shocks and softens vibrations.
Deck : 3 layers of fiber glass + wood core + reinforcements over all sensitive zones.
Hull : 2 layers of fiber glass + wood core + reinforcements over all sensitive zones, such as Fin Boxes.
Rails : Full Carbon Belt + 5 layers of fiber glass overlay over the rails.
Reinforced Boxes and glued with Epoxy inside a high density PVC foam with layers of FDV over them.
Digital Pre-shape, shape controlled by traditional templates, 100% hand finish.

The Origin 2.0 Techno is repairable to new and we sell the necessary components for the job.

Delivery

Delivery delay

We indicate a preparation and shipping time of 3 working days. In reality, the majority of orders are shipped within 24/48 hours.

The delivery time, i.e. delivery time of the package to your home, then depends on the delivery location and the carrier.

We work with reliable and efficient carriers. 99% of shipments go perfectly and quickly. In the case of the remaining 1%, rest assured that we will do what is necessary with the carrier.

Shipping fees

Unlike other sites, shipping costs are not hidden behind the price of our products. You know exactly what shipping costs you, and you are not disadvantaged if you choose to collect your order at our GONG Space Center.

Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight and volume of each package, and your delivery address.

Tracking your package

Delivery tracking is managed directly by the carriers to whom we have entrusted your packages. They will contact you by email or SMS to allow you to choose delivery methods and follow the route of your package.

Carriers

We work with the best transport societies to deliver to you throughout Europe and the world within very short deadlines. We chose them for their quality of service and their compliance with deadlines.

For mainland France, 80% of your orders arrive at their destination in less than 48 hours of processing.

For Europe, delivery times vary from 3 to 6 working days, depending on the country of destination.

For the rest of the world, delivery times depend on transit time and customs clearance time. This delay depends on customs and can last from a few days to a few weeks depending on the destination and seasonality.

Please note, transport time is added to preparation/shipping time. Two companies collaborate on your order (GONG and the carrier). Each one masters its activity and is committed to optimizing its deadlines so that you are delivered as quickly as possible and at a reasonable price.

Eco-responsible packaging

Preserving the environment is an absolute priority. This is why we do everything possible to reduce our ecological footprint.

The most important thing is to sell quality, durable products that will be repairable and will please you for a long time.

For our shipments, we use:

Scotch craft paper.

Final packaging in high-end cardboard.

For rigid boards: Flexi-Hex, very high resistance ecological packaging.

Reusable and recyclable packaging.

An almost total reduction in single-use plastic.

Maximum protection and impact resistance for rigid boards thanks to the innovative Flexi-Hex honeycomb design (35mm thick).

Receipt of your product

Upon delivery, check the condition of your package in the presence of the carrier. A complete explanation email on the procedure to follow will be sent to you when your order is shipped.

Despite our requirements and all the care we take in the packaging and protection of your product, transport hazards may occur, and your product may suffer more or less significant transport damage.

Note that the products are protected in their carton. If you have any doubts, simply refuse delivery and contact us.

How to properly glue your pads?

The question of the pad often comes down to an aesthetic choice for the look of your board. But what seems like luxury to non-pros is actually a huge help.
If surfing is the art of placement then you need to put your feet properly on the board. And what better than a touch marker to know, ok, I’m at the sweet spot for this turn.?

Sticking good pads is therefore essential. They will signal to your feet whether they are in the perfect position or not.
You still have to stick them properly, and some get very creative…
